These shocks fit a 2023 Honda ADV 150, and package comes with additional heavy duty rear springs. Springs are simple to remove and reinstall. There is easy preload adjustment using supplied tool, as well as rebound adjustment screw using conventional flathead screwdriver. No compression adjustment screw located, but am sastified with ability to fine tune shocks by adjusting the preload and rebound in small increments. After test riding for 100+ miles, these TYY shocks appear to be well made, functional and adjustable to individual requirements. I installed Black on my ADV150. I leave the replacement work to PRO.
I have never used High-end like OHLINS or NITRON, and this is a Review on it.
Please understand the premise.
The initial Suspension of ADV150 has no adjustment function and the official website says "Damper with 120-stroke reserver tank is adopted for Rear Suspension to provide stable damping force, and combined with progressive load characteristics by 3-stage rate spring, it pursues comfortable ride even when driving two people or on rough road. There it is." The original setting is quite firm, as shown in the following table.
Some people say that ADV150 has hard Seat but I thought it is not because of Seat but because of initial Suspension setting. If you have ever adjusted it, you will understand that the comfort adjustment of suspension is totally different for single rider and Tandem assumption (+50kg+ overweight at the back). The early ADV150 is adjusted enough to be comfortable even for Tandem.
So, if I can make it soft when I ride alone, I bought it also to change the color because I felt that the Gold colored Reserver tank was too assertive.
Pre-road adjustment function
This function adjusts the width (distance) at which Spring oscillates.
φSimply turn it with a 5mm Gold genus rod for easy adjustment.
The suspension is infinitely variable, and at the top it is so stiff that the spring almost comes off, and at 30mm down it becomes as stiff as the initial suspension. The ride quality changes visibly, so you can set the ride quality to your liking.
I weigh about 60kg, and I settled on about 15mm, which is a little soft.
φThe 5mm Gold genus rod is placed in the on-board tool and can be adjusted at any time.
Damping force adjustment function
This function adjusts how fast the spring shakes when it receives an impact.
Simply turn the slotted screwdriver for easy adjustment.
Turn Left for Soft (Spring returns slowly), and turn Right for Hard (Spring returns quickly).
In some places, the official YSS description says there are 20 levels, but due to product improvements, there are actually 30 levels.

……For some reason, with the product I received, I can click 31 steps no matter how many times I count, but well, it's a tiny difference.
Because I don't do any sport driving, I don't feel the effect is as good as the pre-road adjustment above, but it's adjustable anyway.
When initially installed, the Right was 15/31 steps and the Left was 7/31 steps, which for some reason was uneven. It is recommended that you align them yourself immediately after purchase.
Ride height adjustment function
Caution
It seems to be a function that can make the ride height maximum Large+10mm……, but it doesn't exist for ADV150.
The addendum paper was attached that the function is not available for ADV150.
In fact, there were no operable parts.

Whether you see this price as high or reasonable is up to you.
If you weigh about 80kg, I think the ride quality is not bad even with the initial suspension.
Also, it may look relatively expensive because the body price itself is low.
As for me, I was satisfied with the dress-up effect and the new way to play with it, because it is interesting to run and adjust pre-road on the way out, run and adjust pre-road on the way out…….
