About quality and texture - Top quality. No complaints with this part from Takegawa, the welding is very neat and the surface finish with the polishing is spot on.About the feeling of use - Being a stand alone oil catch tank it's great for universal use on many motorcycles. I'm extremely happy with the look on the Monkey bike and it's performing without issue alone side my 143cc big bore kit.Products to buy together - Being a oil catch tank only you will be needing to also purchase a few more parts at a minimum from Webike to make this functional on your motorcycle. Breather hoses with an internal diameter of 8mm and 10mm are required.Difficulty of installation - Being universal all installations will be different but for me a custom bracket was required to be manufactured which took sometime, so I rate my setup on the difficult side for installation.Cost performance and comparison with other products - Price is good for a top quality designed oil catch tank but if I was to do this again I would purchase the kit available from ENDURANCE for the Honda Monkey 125.About shipping and packaging - Sea freight is my preferred shipping option and usually arrives in Australia in 6 to 8 weeks from dispatch. Always will packaged to ensure parts arrive safety and are ready for use.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Use the attached diagram to ensure the dimensions of this universal oil catch tank suit your intended location.
About quality and texture - The 420cc oil catch tank from SP Takegawa is made from aluminium with neat aluminium TIG welds and a polished surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The 420cc oil catch tank has resolved my engine oil loss caused from high RPM riding by capturing the oil vapour generated during this period of riding and re-directing it back to the crankcase via the larger 12mm barbed hose fitting.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the 420cc oil catch tank is the oil filler breather cap that will allow for the connection of the oil catch tank to the engine for an engine oil return path.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the 420cc oil catch tank is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to mount the oil catch tank to an available frame tab, in an open and elevated position.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the 420cc oil catch tank is no different. The design of this 420cc oil catch tank with it's four barbed hose fittings is what sets it apart from the others.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the 420cc oil catch tank, I choose EMS for a earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, purchasing specialty products like this from Webike Japan is the only option. There are a few local stores selling parts for the Monkey 125 but the range is very limited.View Detail
If you are looking to do a custom install for a oil catch tank breather system on your motorcycle, this is a great one to go with. This oil catch tank has four ports for connecting to which is one more then most available oil catch tanks which allows you to also add a breather connection from the engine valve or camshaft area. From my research I am told this oil catch tank also has internal baffling which other brands do not and adds to the effectiveness of this product. It is made from aluminium so is very light weight and has nice welds with an overall polished finish. Price it a little higher then most but you do get those addaitional features i mentioned.View Detail
I needed a solution to fill the space on the left hand side of my Monkey 125 after removing the standard air box. I saw a few people had done this with an oil catch can and decided to give it a go. The Special Parts Takegawa oil catch tanks style and finish suits my Monkey 125 with it's nicely polished finish. Very happy with the overall look of this product one the bike.View Detail
About quality and texture - The hose connector from SP Takegawa is made from a hard plastic material with a transparent white finish and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The hose connector is perfectly sized for engine breathing applications where you have a regular sized hose that is required to be reduced to to a smaller hose for your small barbed hose fittings on your oil catch tank or air filter pod, which I have both of on my Honda Monkey 125 but is only to be used with air systems and not oil or fuel.Products to buy together - The hose connector does require to be firmly secured to the breather hose, the use of zip ties is not my preferred method as a permanent solution so the use of specifically sized 9.5mm and 13mm hose clamps from SP Takegawa is what I would recommend.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the hose connector is a simple task that took 0.2 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use a basic hand tools is what is required.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the hose connector is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the hose connector, I chose EMS for a earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, purchasing small common use products like this from Webike Japan is the best option when combining multiple parts together if you are also taking into account the shipping cost.View Detail
About quality and texture - The 550cc oil catch tank from SP Takegawa is made from aluminium with neatly rolled edges, aluminium TIG welds on the barbed hose fittings and mounting bracket and a raw surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The 550cc oil catch tank not only serves the purpose of collecting engine oil but also fills the space left when installing a low mount exhaust on the Monkey 125.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the 550cc oil catch tank is the oil filler breather cap that will allow for the connection of the oil catch tank to the engine for an engine oil return path.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the 550cc oil catch tank is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to mount the oil catch tank to an available frame tab, in an open and elevated position.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the 550cc oil catch tank is no different. The shape and large size of this 550cc oil catch tank is what sets it apart from the others.About shipping and packaging - With there being minimal cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the 550cc oil catch tank, I choose EMS for a earlier arrival date. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the oil catch tank kit from SP Takegawa. With an all aluminium catch tank and breather union this kit adds little weight to the motorcycle and looks impressive with it’s buffed finish. About the feeling of use: With an increase in engine performance comes and increase in engine pressure and heat, this oil catch tank kit does a great job minimising these effects on the engine performance. Products to buy together: A banjo fitting to fit to the tappet cover to allow venting of the head would also be desirable to purchase alongside the oil catch tank kit to utilise both inlet ports of the oil catch tank. Difficulty of installation: The process to install took me about 1 and a half hours, position the catch tank first so you can workout the lengths required to be cut for your hoses and secure them with the included hose clamps. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing but you are getting just about everything required from this kit with the best design as compared to the other kits that only offer one inlet port and no drain port. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: I see no concerns or cautions to be advised of in regards to this product. If you are looking for the best designed oil catch tank for the 1st generation Grom then go for it. View Detail

About quality and texture - The standard G-Craft billet aluminium raw finish with a clear anodize that never gets old or fades.About the feeling of use - Just a beautiful part with it's etched G-Craft branding around the cap, very happy I chose this one over any of the coloured options from other brands for this location.Products to buy together - The G-Craft service hole cap and engine cap for the left engine cover are perfectly matched to this filler cap and make a great set.Difficulty of installation - Installation of the filler cap is just simply re-using the O-ring from the Honda OEM cap and tightening down by hand.Cost performance and comparison with other products - There are cheaper and more expensive billet aluminium oil filler caps from the other brands. This one looks to be priced around the mid points but don't let a few dollars either way make your decision. You should be purchasing based on the style you like the best.About shipping and packaging - Sea freight is my preferred shipping option and arrives in Australia within 8 weeks from dispatch. Always well packaged to ensure parts arrive safety and are ready for use.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - If there isn't an oil filler cap to your liking in the Monkey 125 listing then go chechout what's available for the Grom as they will also fit.View Detail
About quality and texture - You are getting a set of billet aluminium caps with a silver anodized finish. The design looks to be well thought of with the grooves on the inside of the cap to additionally help with transfering the heat from the oil to the outside fins.About the feeling of use - The silver finish doesn't match the silver engine of the Monkey 125 so that my bother some people but not me. The caps warm up just like the Honda OEM caps but now with the fins exposed to the air flow this area can add some cooling effect to the engine oil.Products to buy together - If you have increased the performance of your 125cc engine and are still looking for more cooling then the Kitaco high mount 3 row oil cooler kit specifically designed for the Monkey 125 will be a nice additional purchase.Difficulty of installation - Installation of the tappet cap set is just simply re-using the O-rings from the Honda OEM caps and tightening down the Kitaco caps with the included allen head bolts. A small amount of oil will come out when the lower tappet cap is removed but that's nothing to worry about.Cost performance and comparison with other products - This purchase has to be the best value finned tappet cap as you are receiving 2 caps and not 1 like the finned tappet cap from G-Craft. If you just want billet caps without fins you can get them much cheaper.About shipping and packaging - Sea freight is my preferred shipping option and arrives in Australia within 8 weeks from dispatch. Always well packaged to ensure parts arrive safety and are ready for use.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Also available with a black anodized finish to match the black engine of the Honda Grom.View Detail
About quality and texture - This product is made up of a multitude of parts, steel material used for the base plate for the strength in case of a fall and aluminium material is used for the guard plates and protector to keep it as light as possible.About the feeling of use - With the addition of some protective items fitted to the Monkey 125 I feel more at ease knowing that if I have a small accident that the motorcycle parts will be saved.Products to buy together - Kitaco have many beautifully machine aluminium anodized parts but their left crank case cover has the ability to also protect the engine cover so is perfect to add for some additional fall protection.Difficulty of installation - The included instructions show the sequence of lining up all the parts and they simply secure to the fork guard mounting tabs with the included longer bolts. I'd also recommend using a thread locking product.Cost performance and comparison with other products - A high priced product from Kitaco but so are similar products from the likes of G-Craft. Looks like if you want fall protection with some style it will cost you some dollars but in the event they come into use will save you even more.About shipping and packaging - Sea freight is my preferred shipping option and arrives in Australia within 8 weeks from dispatch. Always well packaged to ensure parts arrive safety and are ready for use.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Not stated by Kitaco but these front fork guards can also be used to raise the front end of the Monkey 125 using a maintenance stand.View Detail
About quality and texture - One solid machined aluminum cover with a cool design and smooth anodized finish to hide the ugly starter motor housing.About the feeling of use - When you are using a low mount exhaust on the Monkey 125 the starter motor is no longer hidden by the exhaust pipe and this part ready dresses up the area.Products to buy together - Kitaco have many fine aluminium billet parts and one that will also dress up a poor looking Honda OEM part is the clutch cable receiver bracket.Difficulty of installation - Installation of this cover is just removing the Honda OEM mounting hardware, then positioning the spacers and cover and tightening down the included longer bolts.Cost performance and comparison with other products - Not a cheaply priced part but still more affordable then the one available from Posh and much better looking in my opinion.About shipping and packaging - Sea freight is my preferred shipping option and arrives in Australia within 8 weeks from dispatch. Always well packaged to ensure parts arrive safety and are ready for use. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - The starter cover is not the same for all year Groms and Monkey 125 motorcycles, Kitaco have 2 versions available so be sure to select the correct one.View Detail
About quality and texture - The washers are machined aluminium with an anodized finish and the dome nuts are stainless steel which is nicer then the Honda OEM soft steel chrome version.About the feeling of use - I chose the red anodized finish to add somemore highlights to the Monkey 125 and am really liking how they look with the red highlights on the upgraded rear shocks.Products to buy together - For more red highlights adding the Kitaco aluminium key box cover to my was a must and Kitaco have many more to choose from.Difficulty of installation - Installation was no problem and all you need it a ratchet and socket to complete the job, be sure to just change one nut and washer at a time so you don't have an issue with the suspension moving.Cost performance and comparison with other products - Priced well and cheaper then the version SP Takegawa have. I also prefer the Kitaco styling of the coloured washers with the stainless nuts.About shipping and packaging - Sea freight is my preferred shipping option and arrives in Australia within 8 weeks from dispatch. Always well packaged to ensure parts arrive safety and are ready for use.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - When you decide you are going to start adding highlighted parts like these to your motorcycle, think about all the parts you might like to add before purchasing the first one so you make the right decision about which colour to go with.View Detail
