The panels are made from carbon fiber and the grilles are made from an aluminium mesh.About the feeling of use: They look outstanding fitted to the Grom and a huge improvement from the OEM Honda panels that were fitted to the tank shrouds previously not only in looks but also allow a path for warm air to escape that is rising from the engine.Products to buy together: Some more carbon fiber accented parts would also be desirable to purchase alongside the pair of tank shrouds with grilles.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour, remove the seat and both tank shrouds. Then proceed to swap over the grill panels with the eight fasteners and reverse the process to complete the installation. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 30 minutes, undo the joint clip and discard the old chain then feed the new drive chain around the sprockets and connect the chain using the joint clip. Adjustment of the drive chain slack will also be needed to complete the installation. Not difficult to do. The catch tank and mounting bracket are made from stainless steel and the catch tank has a lovely polished stainless steel finish. Other various parts are included to complete the installation. About the feeling of use: Successfully helps remove oil vapour from the crankcase breather hose which leads less oil being burnt by the engine and the size of the catch tank is perfect for it's positioning on the Grom. Products to buy together: While you are adding parts to help with your performance upgrades an oil cooler would also be desirable to purchase alongside oil catch tank set.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 30 minutes. Remove two of the crankcase cover bolts and then install the tank mounting bracket, fit the rubber and catch tank to the mounting bracket then secure with the included zip ties. Disconnect the OEM Honda crankcase breather hose from the engine and connect to the catch tank and then install the included hose from the engine breather to the catch tank. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Great costing as this product is made from some quality stainless steel and made from a simple design that just works as compared to the more complex designed setups from Kitaco at a slightly higher cost and the setups from SP Takegawa at a extremely higher cost. Products to buy together: Some higher sprung and adjustable suspension would also be desirable to purchase alongside the rearset kit to to help with the Groms ride quality. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one and a half hour, The swingarm needs to be unloaded to allow the swingarm pivot bolt to be removed as it is one of the main fasteners secure the reasets and then transfering over many of the Honda componets for an operating rear brake pedal and gear shifter.
