I have a set of Givi storage but was struggling to find the tank lock for the tank bag of my model. Even some of my go to suppliers in the UK were struggling to get them in stock so I decided I would just get them from Webike instead.I was alittle surprised that Webike stocked so many different model of kits but very pleased too.I found the correct part number by visitiin Givi website and adding the make, model and year of my bike. Not super hard at all.The price that Webike offered is great, very competitive indeed. Becasue I have never gotten around to purchasing the kit, I have not had chance to use the tank bag.I had a few other parts in my order along with this one. I rarely, if ever just buy the one part as the shipping takes a real hit that way, because I had a few other parts, the shipping was relatively good. This time around I used EMS fast because I know they delivery in quick time. If I remember correctly, this was 5 days from ordering to delivery at my front door. The box everything came in was sealed by Webike on each side so nothing could be lost during transit. They even packed all the idividual items in their own little bubble wrap pocket and then added extra bubble wrap to fill in any spaces. Everything arrived in 100% perfect condition.When I unpackaged the Givi kit, it had the bracket and a lot of lovely machined bolts to attach to the tank cap.Because this is not really a part that is visible when being used, you would expect that the finish would not be great but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it looked even without the tank bag attached. As I had never fitted this part and therefore never used the tank bag, I did have to alter where the part attached to the tank bag itself slightly as it came in the standard position. Really easy to do that as there are already holes to move the part up and down to where ever you wat it.All went together reaaly easily. Pretty much a straight swap. Now I can attach my tank bag and know that it will not move or fall off. No need for annoying straps or anything else.Very pleased with the result. Ok so it's just an oil filter. An oil filter that gets changed through out the bike's life. So why bother buying really cheap aftermarket ones or the really expensive one when you know the genuine will work perfectly and give a great life span. The filter was easy to find, it also fits quite a few different models so is readily available. The price was really good, and still better than could source locally for the same Yamaha part. As I always have more than one part in each order, the cost of shipping is really good. I generally use EMS Fast service as it gets to me very quickly and the tracking is full, I mean full as in every step of the journey. I know exactly when the order will be delivered, the delivery has always been on time. Every part in the order was well packaged as expected and the outer box was sealed on all sides so none of my smaller parts could escape. There is not really much to say about the finish of this oil filter as there is not really much you can see, the paint is clean and the threaded part is super smooth. The seal is intact and no tears, rips of dinks. Nothing is bad with Yamaha oild filters at all. Never had any problems. The paint on the outer is really good and no runs or blemishes on it at all. The filter threaded on really easily and obviously, with any oil filter change, a small amount of oil on the end just to help seal.Fitted in no time at all and filled the oil in the engine. I have a job to do which involves removing the front disco bolts. Usually I would already have a new set in stock in case there are any unforeseen issue with reinstalling the old ones. For this reason, I decided it was time to get a least one side incase any old bolts are not up to scratch. Finding the correct parts was pretty easy by using the Yamaha schematic sections which you can find on the internet. Search for Yamaha Parts Catalogue. Alternatively, you can use the tools provided by Webike which gives you links etc. A lot of these Yamaha disc bolts do fit a lot of other models as I believe they are the same dimensions. The price for the full set on on side was very good value. Better than I could source locally here in the UK. Plus, I know exactly, where these are coming from, ie, direct from Yamaha. I did have other parts in my order and this meant, the shipping costs are spread over a lot of parts and not just one or two. I used EMS fast as the courier. This couirer is fast, cheap nad just spot on. No problems and the order was delivered in 5 days from placing the order. All the items in the box were well packaged, in their own OEM packets and along with bubble wsrap and air pockets so there would be no damage in transit. Webike even tape the outer box edges so nothing can escape, be lost or be stolen. Everything arrived in tip top condition, no dmage, not even the packets were scraped. The bolts are really good quality, the threads are nice and smooth and after I measured them all, they are absolutely bang on the specs they should be. The finish is crisp and clean, a nice sating silver. Not 100% sure what metal they are but, they do tend to last a long time and rarley need replacing. The only problem people come up against, is the head when removing them. A lot don't use the correct tool to remove and this messes up teh actual head. This in turn means refitting can be almost impossible. These are the genuine article, Yamaha bolts have never let me down. The dreaded leak and this is why I decided to buy genuine as opposed to the aftermarket which often fail. The last one which has started leaking was an aftermarket one. Go figure. The part was super easy to find witht the help of the tools available on Webike. The price was brilliant and even though it's only an o ring, would you really want to risk a pathetic aftermarket one which will bring your riding to a halt... no.So, this was also ordered along with a few other parts and the shipping was very good indeed. I used EMS fast service as they do exactly what they say they will, deliver FAST, the end. Arrived with me within a week of ordering all the parts needed. All packaged really well as expected and any space in teh box was filled with bubble wrap and air pockets to protect any smaller and more delicate parts from damage. I now it is just an ring but this is an important one that you should be careful with. When I opened the packet, the o ring was perfect, no tears rips, loose pieces of rubber or anything. Yamaha really do know how to make o rings. It was a nice smooth surface and was flexible but not too much as this could also cause issues. Yes, I have made the mistake of buying cheap alternatives before to my detrement, just ended in disaster and had to get an OEM one anway, just do not waste your money on the cheap crap. Stick to getnuine for these things.Fitted within a couple of minutes. Very pleased with my purchase and from now on, I will ONLY buy genuine OEM for my baby. I really like how my wife's MT09 turned out after adding these to her bike, so figured I would take a look to see if Webike sold the ones for my bike the MT10. Wow, yes they do!I have used R&G myself on a lot of bikes and know how good the quality is and how well they perform. No idea why I never got around to adding these to the bike. I know they are super grippy and an added bonus is that they also protect the tank too. Finding the correct part was super easy, I cross referenced between Webike and R&G website. Simples. I usually have multiple items in my basket as I do use a lot pf parts both on my own bikes, my wife's bike and customers too. Becasue I order a few parts, this cuts the cost of shipping down immensely per item. EMS fast service it what I use these days, they never seem to let you down, even if you have an order that you place mid or late on in the week, the orders always get to me in 4-5 days including weekends. Great for any customer. My order was all packed really well and I secretly think the Webiske warehouse workers are masters at Tetris as they manage to fit parts in when I would expect a larger box. Not only do they fit them in perfectly, they pad everything out so nothing gets damaged in transit. Absolute, stars. The reason I chose these tank grips instead of other brands is because I sometimes do track days and leathers do not grip the tank when you need it the most, regular tank pads basically just protect the tank whilst adding zero grip for your legs and knees. Easy choice. When they arrived, they were even added to a piece of card to keep them nice and flat. Fitting was super easy, I do use a weird method that probably no one else uses though. I test fit them using a small piece of tape and then put a few faint marks on the tank with a white pen (wipes off easily), this way, when I do come to fitting them, I know that they are in the right place and symetrical both sides. If they were not correct, it would seriously mess with my OCD. So, after I have the grips marked out on teh tank, it's just a case of running a heat gun or hairdryer over the grip witht he backing paper on and then a little over the tank which helps with adhesion, Peel a small piece of the back to get you going and then gently remove all the backing and slide onto the tank. Super easy but take your time. If you rush, you will mess it up.Very pleased with my purchase, thank you WebikeView Detail
