Ok so it's just an oil filter. An oil filter that gets changed through out the bike's life. So why bother buying really cheap aftermarket ones or the really expensive one when you know the genuine will work perfectly and give a great life span. The filter was easy to find, it also fits quite a few different models so is readily available. The price was really good, and still better than could source locally for the same Yamaha part. As I always have more than one part in each order, the cost of shipping is really good. I generally use EMS Fast service as it gets to me very quickly and the tracking is full, I mean full as in every step of the journey. I know exactly when the order will be delivered, the delivery has always been on time. Every part in the order was well packaged as expected and the outer box was sealed on all sides so none of my smaller parts could escape. There is not really much to say about the finish of this oil filter as there is not really much you can see, the paint is clean and the threaded part is super smooth. The seal is intact and no tears, rips of dinks. Nothing is bad with Yamaha oild filters at all. Never had any problems. The paint on the outer is really good and no runs or blemishes on it at all. The filter threaded on really easily and obviously, with any oil filter change, a small amount of oil on the end just to help seal.Fitted in no time at all and filled the oil in the engine. I have a job to do which involves removing the front disco bolts. Usually I would already have a new set in stock in case there are any unforeseen issue with reinstalling the old ones. For this reason, I decided it was time to get a least one side incase any old bolts are not up to scratch. Finding the correct parts was pretty easy by using the Yamaha schematic sections which you can find on the internet. Search for Yamaha Parts Catalogue. Alternatively, you can use the tools provided by Webike which gives you links etc. A lot of these Yamaha disc bolts do fit a lot of other models as I believe they are the same dimensions. The price for the full set on on side was very good value. Better than I could source locally here in the UK. Plus, I know exactly, where these are coming from, ie, direct from Yamaha. I did have other parts in my order and this meant, the shipping costs are spread over a lot of parts and not just one or two. I used EMS fast as the courier. This couirer is fast, cheap nad just spot on. No problems and the order was delivered in 5 days from placing the order. All the items in the box were well packaged, in their own OEM packets and along with bubble wsrap and air pockets so there would be no damage in transit. Webike even tape the outer box edges so nothing can escape, be lost or be stolen. Everything arrived in tip top condition, no dmage, not even the packets were scraped. The bolts are really good quality, the threads are nice and smooth and after I measured them all, they are absolutely bang on the specs they should be. The finish is crisp and clean, a nice sating silver. Not 100% sure what metal they are but, they do tend to last a long time and rarley need replacing. The only problem people come up against, is the head when removing them. A lot don't use the correct tool to remove and this messes up teh actual head. This in turn means refitting can be almost impossible. These are the genuine article, Yamaha bolts have never let me down. The dreaded leak and this is why I decided to buy genuine as opposed to the aftermarket which often fail. The last one which has started leaking was an aftermarket one. Go figure. The part was super easy to find witht the help of the tools available on Webike. The price was brilliant and even though it's only an o ring, would you really want to risk a pathetic aftermarket one which will bring your riding to a halt... no.So, this was also ordered along with a few other parts and the shipping was very good indeed. I used EMS fast service as they do exactly what they say they will, deliver FAST, the end. Arrived with me within a week of ordering all the parts needed. All packaged really well as expected and any space in teh box was filled with bubble wrap and air pockets to protect any smaller and more delicate parts from damage. I now it is just an ring but this is an important one that you should be careful with. When I opened the packet, the o ring was perfect, no tears rips, loose pieces of rubber or anything. Yamaha really do know how to make o rings. It was a nice smooth surface and was flexible but not too much as this could also cause issues. Yes, I have made the mistake of buying cheap alternatives before to my detrement, just ended in disaster and had to get an OEM one anway, just do not waste your money on the cheap crap. Stick to getnuine for these things.Fitted within a couple of minutes. Very pleased with my purchase and from now on, I will ONLY buy genuine OEM for my baby. As we now have the tank bag kit attached to bothe the MT09 Tracer and the MT10. I thought it would be a good idea to get the bracket kit for my wife's MT09 Tracer so she can also have the top box attached too. Never really used this top box on the MT09 Tracer as we didn't have the right brackets. We were sold the wrong ones when we bought the storage boxes. Anyway, after doing some research, I found the dcorrect bracket kit which would mean the MT09 could accommodate the top box. Really easy to find when you go on to Gvi website.Funnily enough, Webike had this kit too at a great price. Why not just get the kit from here, no brainer. I was surprised at how cost effective the shipping was. Mind you, I do always have other items in my basket ready to go to checkout. This meant, the shipping cost, EMS fast service in this case, was really good value.All was delivered successfully in 5 days flat, no messing around with EMS fast.The outer box was taped close which I am happy about as I did not want any of my ordered parts escaping the box during transit. Now bare in mind, this kit box is not small and I was concerned it could damage the other contents of the order. No way, not after Webike warehouse do thier stuff. All the empty space in the box was filled with bubble wrap and all was neatly packed out and no chance of any movement in transit. No dramas there.The kit is really nice, it came with all the instructions you would need, it was not too difficult to understand unlike some intructions I have come across before. After a couple of minor hitches, using the wrong bolt, it eventually went on great. The brackets are nice and sturdy once fitted, the finish of the brackets is pretty good. Hopefully the paint will last a long time. Obviously, this needs to withstand some punishment as it will be open to the UK elements and also the debris from the road surface. All in all, very pleased with this purchase. We both can now pack up our stuff and head out on a few more trips and not have to worry about not having the right equipment with us.
