Genuine Honda Front Pad Set

These were another part that was for a smaller bike I got in from a customer. This time it is the front brake pads for the CB1000R 2013 as the old ones were well beyond their usage. I did not change the front pads on the last service as they were perfectly good and had a lot of use still in them. Usually on this bike, the front need changing twice as often as the rear anyway. Finding the right ones was easy but checking on Honda schematics and then searching for this part number on Webike MT03 model. Luckily, they had a set in their warehouse and so added to my order. EMS shipped my order and all arrived in perfect condition in 7 days from being shipped. Everything was well padded out in the box so there was no damage. These pads are Honda pads and do last quite a while, probably longer than these should have as the customer clearly prefers the front brake to the rear. The pad material is even and looks pretty tasty for a bigger bike to handle. Perhaps not sintered but they do have some heavy compound in them. A few parts needed replacing on this bike due to corrosion of bad salty weather. This hanger pin and the plug pin were not great. We decided to just get both of the parts and replace as just replacing one was a little silly. The hanger pin was not hard to find as I had Honda schematics to check on. After finding the 2 parts needed on Webike website, I ordered these along with a couple of other bits. This saved on shipping and also meant that all the parts I needed, would arrive at the same time. This allows me to get on with the jobs together instead of having to wait for another shipment. The hanger pin arrived and was inside a bubble wrap envelope that Webike warehouse had made. This kept both the plug pin and the hanger pin together for safety and so they would not get lost. The hanger pin is essentially a long bolt which holds into place the brake pads, so essential part. The hanger pin is well machined and even though it is a small bolt, Honda took the time to make sure it was perfect. Easily fitted and torqued to factory spec. Job done, just add the plug pin. The plug pin is essentially a grub screw which protect the hanger pin head from getting messed up. Unfortunately, someone had this plug pin out before and had not seated it correctly which meant salt and other road debris had made it's way inside. These things happen. The plug pin is well machined and even though it is a tiny part, Honda took the time to make it right. It went straight into the hanger pin with no fuss and now I am confident that this is protected going forward. Thanks you Webike. View Detail

These was a set of replacements for a broken piston seals for the CB1000R I have in the garage. I found that a few of the seals were not in great condition but these ones actually split and deteriorated. I purchased a set so I now have spares if any are still ok already on the bike. I found the correct part using the help pages and links that Webike provide. All with some other parts were shipped and delivered to my door in 5 days. These are small seals and do need a little care when being shipped. No problem at all for Webike, they put them in a nice bubblewrap envelope and were already on the Genuine Honda packet anyway. They were kept flat so there was no damage to the seals. As I already had the caliper apart for servicing, this set of seals were super easy to install. They arrived in perfect condition and had enough flex to be able to seat correctly. All back together and now that is one of the jobs completed. Thanks Webike, great work. View Detail

This bike, the MT10 , a new clutch cable was needed as the existing one was starting to fray. No point in waiting for it to actually snap so this needed replacing fast. After checking on Webike website, I found them to have an absolutely fantastic price, well less than half what they are in the UK from genuine Yamaha parts dealer. Unfortunately though, the Yamaha dealer in the UK could not give an estimate of when they would be able to get the parts needed. Not an issue with Webike. As these were part of a larger order with other MT10 parts, the shipping was brilliant, not expensive and not too cheap, express delivery is what I went for. From ordering all the different parts in the order to being delivered to my door was literally just 7 days. Including a weekend and the wait time for Webike to source the parts from the different manufacturers. How good is that. Upon receipt, the box was perfect and as Webike package all these very well indeed, nothing was damaged. There was also another layer of padding on top. What more can you ask for. The cable came in it's own Yamaha packet and was in perfect condition when it arrived. The lug was secure, the cable nicely lubricated so slide through the guide outer easily. Fitting is not difficult on an road bike as not really much gets in the way. Now the clutch feels a whole lot better. Happy days. A little bit of a service and new oil change including oil filter for this FZ1N. The filter was easy to find, it also fits a few different models so is readily available. The price was really good, and still better than could source locally for the same K&N part. As I always have more than one part in each order, the cost of shipping is really good. I generally use EMS Fast service as it gets to me very quickly and the tracking is full, I mean full as in every step of the journey. I know exactly when the order will be delivered, the delivery has always been on time. Every part in the order was well packaged as expected and the outer box was sealed on all sides so none of my smaller parts could escape. There is not really much to say about the finish of this oil filter as there is not really much you can see, the black paint is clean, the K&N logo is easily seen and the threaded part is super smooth. With this oil filter, I always like the fact you have a nut on the end so it is easy to tighten and loosen when needed. The seal is intact and no tears, rips of dinks. Nothing is bad with K&N oil filters at all. Never had any problems. The paint on the outer is really good and no runs or blemishes on it at all. The filter threaded on really easily and obviously, with any oil filter change, a small amount of oil on the end just to help seal. Fitted in no time at all and filled the oil in the engine. I wanted to purchase a new pinlock with a slight smoke filter with it. I did look at the genuine Arai ones but the smoke did not look that dark for what I wanted. Having previously purchased a yellow insert for this helmet, I decided I would try this brand again as the previous insert was excellent. It was not hard to find this visor insert as I already had it in my watch list. The price for this insert was a lot better value than the genuine Arai and as I said before, the smoke was a lot deeper and what I needed. With a couple of other parts in my basket, I got them all shipped using EMS. The order arrived in 7 days from being shipped, great courier service. The insert was kept nice and flat and was not damaged in any way during transit. The insert itself fits perfectly with the MAX VISION visor. The smoke is just right, not too light and not a black colour either. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and I might even try the photochromatic one next as the price is also excellent. Due to maintenance the bearings on the rear wheel needed replacing. Rather than go for aftermarket ones, we went for the genuine Yamaha ones. No point in messing around with poor fitting after market ones. The correct bearing part number was found using the help tools on Webike pages. The cost of the bearings was really good value. Better than I thought if I am honest. The old ones were not fully done with but there was slight movement so this was only going to get worse over time. With a few other parts for the bearing change and were all shipped together by EMS all arrived at my door in 7 days. Very well packaged and in perfect condition, Having already removed the old bearings, it was clear that these were going to fail very soon, compared to the new ones, the movement was a little clunky and ever so slightly notchy unlike the new ones which were silky smooth. The bearing are super clean and run really well. No complaints from me on that score. Fitting bearings you do need to take a little care. If you do not have an adequate drift then you could damage them before even the first ride. Luckily, I have a lot of tools to help with this and to get them fitted perfectly. One of the hanger pins on this bike was problematic and the cause was that someone had cross threaded it when they were doing some kind of maintenance. There was no simple and easy fix apart from just buying a new one. Simple as that. Finding the right pin was straight forward by checking Honda schematics. The schematics showed the right one and this was then searched for on Webike. Webike price was far better than I could source from my local Honda dealer. You do need 2 of these and even though one was perfectly ok, I decided to just buy 2 at this price. With a few other small parts, I had the entire order shipped using EMS. In just 7 days from being shipped, my order arrived. The pin hangers arrived in a the usual Honda packaging but also inside a bubble wrap envelope that Webike had provided. This meant the threaded sections would no get any damage during transit. The pin hangers a re very well machined and look to be top quality from Honda. The dimensions are the exact same as the one that is pretty good condition. The threaded sections are smooth and clean from any debris. Fitting is just a simple bolt in. The caliper is now fully supported and will continue to be until someone who has no business fixing bikes is concerned. Very pleased with this small purchase, thanks guys View Detail
