So, sooner or later pistons do fail and this was the case with this little bike. Well, the piston probably did not fail but the piston rings caused this damage for sure. The piston was damaged on one cylinder so I also purchased a new set of rings for this too. The part was not hard to find and I used the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Yamaha schematics. This piston was really good value and better in price than my local Yamaha dealer could beat. I had a few parts for this rebuild to ship so got them all together. I used EMS and all arrived in perfect condition in 5 days from shipping. The piston arrived in it's own little Yamaha box and was in tact and as I expected. There is no burns no marks and is basically just ready for reassembly for the big job in hand. The fitting was not hard, it is the rest of the rebuild that was a pain to do. Got it done pretty easily and was happy with the return of good compression to that cylinder. Now the bike runs a lot better. Thank you for your continued efforts in getting my parts as fast as possible and packing everything perfectly.
When you ever change anything on the crankshaft, then this is a part you really do need to purchase. It is not advisable to re-use a crankshaft lock washer as they can easily fail and they are really only a one hit wonder. Sometimes depending on where the lock washer is, you can just bend over one tang, hen you can re-use it for a second time with zero issues by bending the second tab. As this is for the crankshaft and not just a sprocket, I always buy as and when needed.I always have more than one item in my order as this saves on shipping, the same in this case. All were sent via EMS which arrived 5 days after shipping. The order was well packaged and all the items inside arrived in perfect condition. These Yamaha lock washers come in the Yamaha standard packaging and were also inside a bubble wrap envelope for safety. The construction is sturdy but does have a degree of give due to the action needed when bending over the tabs. The alignment with the spline on the shaft is perfect with barely any movement. Vey pleased with this purchase. Great work by Webike in getting my order safely to me and the front sprocket is now very secure. View Detail
Along with all the main parts for the upgrade from 125 to 155, the piston rings also needed to be changed. It just makes sense as the previous rings are far too small. Finding the correct rings was not super hard, I just used the tools Webike provide along with cross referencing with Yamaha schematics. Easy. The cost of the rings was really good and better than I thought even direct from Japan. I did have a few other parts in this order, including the piston, cylinder, gaskets etc for the bike and had them all shipped together. If you combine your items into one order, you do tend to save on shipping costs which is a bonus. I used EMS as they just get my order to me fast. No messing around, 5 days from shipping and they arrived at my door. The rings came in the standard Yamaha box and were surrounded in bubble wrap to keep everything safe and secure. The rings are well made and look really good quality. I have had some rings that just look like they will snap at the first sign of bending, but these look pretty robust. Fitting was not too bad as the bike was already apart. All back together, now I just need to run the bike at a lesser pace to bed them in. Great purchase and very happy with the service Webike provided. View Detail
Along with the other parts to replace the complete cylinder, piston, rings etc. The con rod was also in need of a replacement. No point in replacing all the other parts and keeping the old con rod. This was a total upgrade for the NMAX125 to the bigger NMAX155 top end. Finding the right one for this model of bike was straight forward as I use the help tools Webike provide. Also, I cross referenced the parts through Yamaha schematics. The price was brilliant and so much better than I could source locally. EMS shipped my order and all the parts arrived in 5 days. Everything was very well packaged and there was no chance of any damage. Webike warehouse used a lot of bubble wrap. Great work guys. The con rod came in the Yamaha box and is of really great quality and I have never had any issues with fitment or the tolerances of any con rods from genuine sources. As this is direct from Yamaha, I had no doubt in the workmanship of this con rod too. Excellent throughout. Very pleased with the purchase. Thanks Webike and Webike warehouse. View Detail
This was the second part of the piston and rings rebuild for the NMAX125 2017 that was being upgraded to the 155. The piston arrived in it's own little Honda box and was in tact and as I expected. As we were already rebuilding the piston and cylinder for the NMAX155, I decided to go the whole way and get all the parts new for the rebuild. This is the piston pin for the new piston along with the other necessary parts needed. The part was not hard to find and I used the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Yamaha schematics. This piston was really good value and better in price than my local Yamaha dealer could beat. I had a few parts for this upgrade/rebuild to ship so got them all together. I used EMS and all arrived in perfect condition in 5 days from shipping. This piston pin came in the Yamaha packet as it should and was also inside a small bubble wrap envelope to keep it safe in transit. The pin is very well machined and smooth as you like. The surface is perfect and even though you do not see this when it is fitted, the shine on the pin is great. Keep up the great work Webike, Excellent. View Detail
Fits: YAMAHA ROAD STAR S (XV17ASECP) 14 Rear Arm Suspension, YAMAHA ROAD STAR S (XV17ASDCB) 13 Rear Arm Suspension, YAMAHA ROAD STAR S (XV17ASDB) 13 Rear Arm Suspension, YAMAHA ROAD STAR S (XV17ASBCB) 12 Rear Arm Suspension, YAMAHA ROAD STAR S (XV17ASBB) 12 Rear Arm Suspension
I had forgotten about some of the smaller parts to refit the rear arm on the MT09 and this included a few collars and bolts etc. Time to order all of those to help the project along. Finding the right collar was pretty easy as I had already seen the schematics for the rear arm section. These collars are small and yes, you could possible reuse the old parts but as this did not have any anyway, I needed to purchase them. For this project I needed just one so added to my basket and a few other small parts. I had them all shipped together which would save a little on shipping costs too. Every little helps you know. EMS had my delivery made within 5 days from being shipped which you cannot argue with. These small collars and some of the bolts were inside a bubble wrap envelope to keep them safe and also to stop them from being lost etc. The packaging was a simple Yamaha bag but that was fine. The collars are not really much to look at but they are very well made and are exact to the specifications needed for the job in hand. Once fitted I will update my review. One happy customer. This bike came in with a bent gear shift lever due to a small accident. It was still functional but did not look great. I did try and straighten it but it still looked bad so a new one was the way to go. As this is a pretty new bike, the parts are readily available and finding the right lever for this bike was easy using the Honda schematics. The price from Webike was really good and even with the shipping cost, it was still cheaper than buying locally. With a couple of other parts on order, I had all them shipped using EMS who are just quick at delivering. In 5 days, my order arrived. All very well packaged and in tact. The gear shift lever did come in the Honda packet and was protected with bubble wrap too. The finish of the lever was really smooth and the satin black paint really finished off the look. The lever is a very strong one but does have a tendency to bend if you have a small low side which is what happened here. Not a problem, all fitted and the bike looks a lot better for it. Thanks Webike View Detail
I wanted to get some new well nuts in this size as I did not have any spares in the garage for this refurb on the Ninja 1000SX. The price was really good and cheaper than some on the other after market brands anyway that I could get. I decided to get the Kawasaki ones as I have had a few other parts from this brand and I am honestly, very impressed with how well they are made. With a couple of other items in my order, I had them all shipped using EMS and the package arrived in 5 days. Everything was well protected from any damage. The well nuts came in the Kawasaki standard packet and were well presented. They are a really neat part that everyone should have some spares as you just never know when you will need them. These were the M5 size and this is usually the size that fits with a lot of panelling on a lot of different models. They also fit a lot of other manufacturers factory screens and various area too. The quality of these is not really easy to work out until you actually use them. I did have a screen that needed a new well nut fitting so I used one of these. Definitely recommend them as they just work how they should. None of the spinning of the thread and worked exceptionally. Very happy with these. View Detail
This was the oil seals for the front wheel on the MT10 2021 which also needed new front wheel bearings and spacer bearing. I do always replace the oil seals when it comes to any bearings where possible for my own peace of mind. It just makes sense to do this. Finding the right oil seal was easy as I already had the schematic open for the front wheel bearings anyway. The price for the new seals was great value. At this price is was silly not to get them. With the other parts needed for this replacement, I had all the order shipped using EMS which are my chosen and trusted courier. My order arrived in 100% perfect condition in 5 days from being shipped. The oil seals came in the standard Yamaha packets and were also inside a nicely made bubble wrap envelope by Webike warehouse to keep them safe. The oil seals are pretty rigid if I am honest but that is not a bad thing. They are top quality oil seals which you expect from such a well respected manufacturer like Yamaha. With a tiny bit of oil to seat them easily, the job was complete and now the front wheel moves freely and smoothly as it should. Great job guys, very pleased with this purchase. View Detail
After doing some maintenance on this bike, specifically the front wheel bearings. I found that the main spacer bearing was also damaged on the front wheel. This is not a good thing so I just decided to buy a new one rather than having this one re-worked. Finding the right spacer bearing for this bike was not hard as I used Yamaha schematics. The price I found from Webike was far cheaper than my local Yamaha dealer could match. Not a problem, I like using Webike for the parts anyway. In 5 days from being shipped, the order arrived. I used EMS and they just delivery really fast. This is not a light part but Webike accommodated this by heavily wrapping it in padding to stop any damage to any of the smaller parts including the oil seals and bearings in the order. The spacer bearing itself is a very well machined part. This really needed to be right in all the specifications as it is a spacer of sorts for the front wheel. No one wants anything to go wrong at the speeds the MT10 will go. I double checked all the tolerances beforehand and all were spot on. As this is just a simple spacer, there are no threaded sections to worry about. You do however need to take care when fitting not to knock on anything. This was easy to do but take your time. Once fitted, the rest of the parts within could also be added. Now the wheel moves freely and there should be no unexpected issues in the future. Very happy with this purchase View Detail
