[How is it used?
Used on FTR223.
Applications:Street riding, Touring, Circuit riding
Used for about a year. (Grip was also replaced along with Handlebar replacement.)
Was the one you received as per Image?
As you can see in the image, it has a standard and simple look, but the red color is stylish.
Was the installation difficult?
This is not a difficult task, but it requires hang when inserting it into Handlebar.
at that time (2009) The bonded grip is secure, but on the throttle tube side, the bond tends to stick to the inside of the throttle tube, and when I changed this grip, I felt it very strongly, so I started to fix the grip with the wiring.
How was your experience with it?
This product is another product of Pro grip that I have used. (#724,#795,#790) I felt that it was in the softer category compared to
At the time, my main use was for touring, and I wanted to use a soft grip that would reduce vibration as much as possible.
For touring use, I think it was less fatiguing and more suited to my idea of large changes. Also, the less fatigue I had, the more I was able to concentrate on riding, which I think led to safer driving.
I'm glad that the red color matches the white body.
Life was fine after about a year of use and still seemed to work.

Point and hang of installation
The Throttle side is fixed with 3 wires to kill Gap.
At that time, insertion into Handlebar is done with Parts cleaner (Fast drying) This is done by the method of inner surface lubrication with compressed air + insertion with compressed air.
If you don't want to use an air compressor, you can use a medium-dry parts cleaner to insert the parts slowly and forcefully.
If you want to fix it with Wiring.
WiringTwister (tool)
Wire with a diameter of about 0.6mm
I think it would be a good idea to prepare and fix them together.
If it's fixed in Bond.
RecommendationBond is Cemedine's SUPERX.
It is solvent-free, so you don't have to worry about the grips melting, and the drying time is moderate, so you can work in plenty of time. (Throttle tube) Apply a thin layer to both. (Apply to both to make it slippery.)
Let it dry a little before inserting the Grip.
Motive for purchasing
I wanted to change the Mirror to a Bar end mirror, so I decided to use the Handlebar Because the weight was in the way, the Handlebar was changed from OEM to Pierced Type We had to change from OEM to Grip, so we had to change the Grip from OEM to So when I needed a new Grip, I chose this one and bought it!
Good points
It looks very easy to grip
Because I bought a quake-resistant GelSpec. one, I also replaced the Handlebar with it, but the vibration is not that much of a bother to ride!
I can feel the Gel when I squeezed hard, and the gritty feeling is becoming a little more pleasant!
At first I thought it might be a bit flashy, but the Black/Color:I made it Gray so it doesn't stand out that badly and it's just right!
What I liked about it
I think I chose something a little too sporty for the W800 It is good because it became easy to ride
Installation difficulty
The process of pulling out the old Grip and inserting the new one into the back Surprisingly, Large is weird, isn't it?View Detail
It was originally a Yamaha OEM Grip, but the car was 35 years old and the Grip was worn out I was going to buy the OEM, but I've used the Pro grip on other cars and I'm not sure if I'm tired or not I could clearly see the difference between the two and I bought it again this time Because of the biting rubber, I used it together with lubricant etc. for installation It's not easy to install but I like the touch Since the painting around the front of the car was done this time, I feel like I could refresh it The length is about 5mm shorter than the OEM, but it is shorter than the Handlebar End's call-out length it is just that ..
It doesn't bother me too muchView Detail
