Purchased for Lowdown of V-Strom 1000 ABS. Touring during the R1200 GS era, I had trouble with it, so this time I wear it as a safety measure as it is. Although the footsteps improved dramatically, Dimension changes, so the ride taste changes depending on the Suspension setting. (Front fork extrusion is also desired to be adjusted at the same time. The light axis of Headlight is also affected. ) And with NORMAL's Side Stand, Motorcycle stands quite a bit. Be careful when parking. Although it is installation, 1. Pivot's Nut is shallowly closed with a considerable Torque and it is better to use Double-end Wrench instead of Socket wrench to reliably loosen it. (If you do it properly, you will be missing Nut. ) In this case, I had to remove the rear wheel Tire at my Level. 2. With a vehicle equipped with Center Stand, Bolt on the far side can not pull out the Holder of the STAND. (Let's force it diagonally and let it in (let's put it) If you do, you will break the Needle roller bearing, so be careful. ) But I am happy to wear it because the footsteps will be much better. Installation is self-responsible again!
Fits: SUZUKI DL1000 V-STROM1000 14 (VU51A) 14 ABS, SUZUKI DL1000 V-STROM1000 14 ABS (L4) 14
Non-original parts. The installation is simple but not operational. The height reduction is not obvious, and the headlight angle increases. After the vehicle is lifted, there is a gap in the swing arm and it is uncertain whether it is normal.View Detail

I am 176 in height and not light in weight, so I have never had a problem with my footing.
The legs themselves aren't very long. (Lol)
I didn't think about it until Lowdown, even if it was a car model that I thought was somewhat bad.
I was concerned about the loss of motion performance and bank angle that could be expected as a demerit.
Buist is the one with the worse footing in Huddlestill.
I think it's standard for an adventure and that's about it.
I thought it would be better to have a higher ride height to stretch out my tired legs on the way to the airport, and I didn't want to drop it.
However, it's not easy to lift up your large feet every time you get on the car for long distances, especially if you're staying overnight.
You've never had to do this before, so you're not used to it. (Lol)
Rethinking Demerit.
I rarely rub my footpegs these days, and I also took off my knee slider.
Off-road driving is almost non-existent, so road clearance is not a problem.
The leg bras on long distances will not be a problem if they are lowered slightly.
Kit is also cheap, and if you really don't like it, you can put it back.
And I considered so many things up front, but the work was done in about an hour. (Lol)
Link Plate of DAYTONA.
It was cheap, a little over 6,000 yen at Webig.
The ones made overseas were not Plate, but only ROD replacement types, and were expensive at around 15,000 yen.
Next, the front fork is pushed out and the front and rear balances are taken.
The rear height was reduced by 25mm, and the fork was protruded by 20mm to see how it would look.
The flat part on the fork surface at the bottom of the trimata is a little over 15mm.
The surface finish is different, but the outer diameter is the same, so there should be no problem.
The tilt changed quite a bit when using Side Stand.
It's the Large threshold of the original tilt, so I think it will be easier to cause.
I'm not sure if my footing has changed. Just about. (Lol)
It doesn't feel dramatic, the heel still floats.
But then again, it might be easy to get overwhelmed in a pinch.
A little test drive.
The change was gradual, but hudrill and different.
The roll center is lowered & probably due to the slight backward movement.
At best, it gave me a sense of stability.
It's a good change for those who run at a leisurely pace.
To make matters worse, the distinctive fluttery feeling is gone.
NORMAL is probably the most fun in Yama.
In contrast to the ride, I felt dramatically closer to the ground when banking.
My toes scrape with a sensation that I wouldn't have scraped before.
I didn't get a chance to try footpeg scrubbing.
These are my impressions at the time of installation.
After that, I rode for a few years.
Merit is the only product that can be used for general pace running.
If your pace is above a certain level (to the extent that you use Tire to the edge), the mobility is more natural and easier to turn with NORMAL.View Detail
