After a lot of messing around and swapping out gearboxes for spare ones, the fork shift (Hook, Shift 2) was a part that needed to be replaced. The part was not too hard to find by using the tools Webike provide via their help pages. I also cross reference with Yamaha schematics to make sure I have the right one. The part was good value and almost half the price I could source locally. With a few other parts I needed for the old girl I had all shipped together and by EMS. All arrived in perfect condition in 5 days from shipping. The fork shift 2 was in a Yamaha packet and inside a bubble wrap envelope, great thinking Webike. Every part in my order was perfect. This shift fork was well made, cast well and had no sharp edges that could cause issues when installed. Not too hard to install as I already had the gearbox removed and in pieces. Now the bike manages to find 2nd easily and no notching happens. Please with purchase, thanks Webike.
